Configure Traffic Flow Analyzer
Register and Create Configuration for Device and Port
Consult your network administrator to determine which device/port/interface(s) support Traffic Flow
Register Device for TFA
- A target device must be registered as a TFA data exporter before the application will accept the data.
- Go to Resources > Managed Resources > Right-Click on Device > Traffic Flow Exporter > Register
- Configure the applicable Device-level/Global settings
- Go to Resources > Managed Resources > Right-Click on Device > Traffic Flow Exporter > Create Configuration
- Since TFA requires port (or interface) level configuration, you need to set up an appropriate port or interface
- Go to Resources > Ports > Right Click-> Right-Click on Port > Traffic Flow Exporter > Create Configuration action
Note: Once these steps are completed it will take 15 minutes to start seeing the flow data in the Traffic Flow Portlet
